Course description: The purpose of this course is to teach the basic principles involved in working safely on distribution. To illustrate these principles, you will be shown some resources available for planning distribution work.This interactive online course will teach you general considerations associated with planning a distribution job. You will also learn how a variety of tools and equipment can be used, including an auxiliary arm. Additionally, you will learn how to replace secondary conductors, move energized conductors, and how to install floating dead-ends.
